  1. Hey Tye, I’ve heard about crossfit forever now. s there a beginniners, intermediate, etc levels?? I’m curious to learn more about it. Of course, I would be a beginner….any info would be helpful! Congrats on getting this new gig going!

    1. Hey Leslie, great question. Crossfit was designed and structure to be for everybody. The basic concept is functional movements performed at high intensity while always be constantly varied. We have what we call prescribed workouts which is what is posted everyday but all workouts are scalable based on your capability. And yes, we have what is called a Foundations Class when you start. This is our intro level class where we teach you the basic movements of CrossFit as well as begin to condition you with our style of training. Over the course of 5-6 days CrossFit Fundamental classes we will take you through all the essential movements and progressively add to the intensity of the workouts so you are prepared to safely participate in one of our regular CrossFit classes. All 6 classes must be completed before you are able to go into the regular CrossFit classes. I would love the opportunity to train and coach you. Please let me know. If you haven’t been to my website yet, check it out for more information. http://www.crossfittallcity.com

  2. Hi i definitely want to start going monday at 6 am since its the only time my husband can watch the baby is this a good time for beginners?? Hope to hear back from you thanks claudia

  3. How do you deal with people who have worked out before, but it’s been ages? In high school I was in martial arts and played football, but one knee injury and ten years later I’m 380 lbs. and my feet hurt every day just because I stand up at work. My knees suck and it’s difficult to walk around the mall, let alone get to a gym for real exercise. How can Crossfit be adapted to me?

    1. Matthew, so sorry for the delayed response. Just now noticed this message from you. Thanks for considering us and for your questions. Whats great about CrossFit is that it is all natural motor recruitment starting from core to extreme that is performed at whatever level you as an individual are capable of doing at that time. Everything we do is scalable so if there is some sort of movement or exercise that you are not able to do, we can change it or “scale” it to what you can do. As long as we can recruit the same functional movement etc., that is what we are looking for. As you get better over time, the level of intensity will naturally increase. Half the battle is showing up and getting started. Feel free to stop in any time to visit and watch a class.

      1. Whitney,

We could definitely talk. I don’t have one specifically for PT but we could work something out for sure. Please call me soon to discuss. My number is on the main site.
